Spoken Arabic Upper Intermediate Course
For students who have completed the Intermediate Arabic course or are of a similar standard, this course develops all areas of the language. It also introduces the similarities and differences between your chosen dialect and other Arabic dialects, teaching the student to recognize other dialects.

This course is suitable for students who have completed the Upper-Intermediate course, or those with a high level of Arabic, perhaps having studied it at undergraduate level. The aim of this course is to master speaking and listening skills in your chosen dialect. The course focuses on the following areas:

- Develop listening skills by watching films and TV programmes
- Converse confidently in different situations, on a range of complex topics
- Awareness of regional dialects within the country

Omar uses his book ‘Media Arabic’ which comprises a series of interesting, relevant articles about current affairs in the Middle East. He also uses interactive software and current news from Al-Jazeera.
